Sal,
Thanks for dropping by! Shame that it was a bit too late for you to win the cereals. Anyway, to my understanding, I usually just add milk (for my case, I consume soya milk) to the muesli. The texture will not be like oat/porridge I believe. As in the mixture of muesli, there are also same flakes added, which could be that of the crispiness.
I was wondering if it was porridge that you had, which you usually have to add just enough of liquid to get the right consistency?

I see this posting too late - a year late, haha. Ever since I had my first taste of muesli in Hong Kong recently I'm hooked. And now I'm finding all means to get my own in local supermarkets, but after adding the cold milk, it doesn't look the same as the one I tried in the hotel, which is smooth and creamy like oatsmeal. My version is crispy just like eating cereals. I'm not sure how to prepare it into those consistency type. I like your blog and will visit more often. Do you have any suggestions how should I prepare it?

Ooh! Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day. Toast drizzled with honey, toast with poached egg, oatmeal, or muesli mixed in yoghurt!

Those pictures have me drooling. I'm trying a very low carb diet at the moment; it's a bit like South Beach. I have an Eggbeater omelet, plus some turkey breakfast sausage. If I'm still hungry, I'll have a piece of fruit. It's very low fat, only "good" carbs, and very very satisfying. If I should win, I'd cheat and have my prize for breakfast the very next day :)

Love your blog; thanks so much for all your work.

Hugs,

Diane
