They are special, not only for their superior flavour and quality, but because of the poulterer’s attention to the health and welfare of his hens, which are free to range and forage on green pasture from dawn to dusk, leading a natural and happy life.
I bought them at Sainsbury’s. Pay close attention and see if you could tell any difference?

I adore your egg photos and my guess is that the ones on the left are the free range. Do I win a prize, if I’m right?

[Pixie] Thank you. The answer is not right and I am afraid that there’s no prize to win.
Probably a recipe of eggs next time to share.
[Christine] I’ll check it out! Thank you. I love free-range
I will reveal the answer next week what’s the difference

Mmm… I’m not sure what difference you’re referring to. I just know that those eggs are Clarence Court eggs, right? I took a photo of them at the London Borough Market last year and I remember seeing them in Sainsbury’s too. I’ve never eaten them before but they are so pretty

Nilmandra,
Yes! They are Clarence Court eggs. Well spotted!
Well, the difference I am referring to is the colour of the eggs! They are pastel blue, how lovely! I have never seen eggs like these sold at the supermarket, that’s why I thought they were special
By the way, I tried the eggs 2 days ago. I have to tell you that the colour of the yolks are intense yellow!
