I am from the state that is just probably 1 hour from your hometown! And yes, some of the food that I cook is very much influenced by Malay and Indian I believe... due to the fact that I love Chilies... :) Wuo eh hiao kong Penang Hokkien! That's the only dialect that I speak apart from some bits and bobs of Teo Chew and Hakka. :) Yup! I am from the state that is just probably 1 hour from your hometown!
