Menu for Hope IV

I am glad to inform that I have been invited to take part in Menu for Hope this year, which runs from 10th – 21st December. Menu for Hope is an annual fundraising event in support of the UN World Food Programme. Five years ago, the devastating tsunami in Southeast Asia inspired Pim to find a way to help, and the very first Menu for Hope was born.

Since I’m pretty new in the food blogging world, this is really new to me but I think it will definitely be a wonderful experience to be able to donate something and raffle off online for charity.

As readers of My Cooking Hut, you can donate and win prizes. The money is raised through this campaign will be going to the UN World Food Program (WFP). It will be used to fund a feeding program in the mountain of kingdom of Lesotho, South Africa.

As my first time participation, I have decided to give away one of my favourite items from my collection – Le Creuset Mini Cocotte. The prize code for this is UK26. So, why this item? First, I think it is cute. Second, if you are a fan of Le Creuset, this will add to your collection of cast iron pots and pans. Third, the mini cocotte can be used to serve any small portion of food in a nice and stylish way. Last but not least, this cast iron can retain heat and it will not let you down and bring you 100% satisfaction in your cooking!

To win this, I shall provide further instructions by tomorrow. If you have become the winner of this item, you will also receive a My Cooking Hut complimentary gift!
